TestedForSellers runs hands-on tests of the software and gear that online sellers pay for: email marketing tools, store builders, CRMs, accounting apps, shipping label printers, scales and more.
We started the site because most “best tools” lists are written from vendor feature pages. We wanted the opposite: sign up for a real account, do the same jobs a small seller does every week, and write down exactly what happened.
What makes our reviews different
- We use the product. Every software review is based on a real account on the plan a small business would choose. Every gear review is based on a unit we bought or borrowed.
- We show our work. Reviews include our own screenshots, a screen-recorded video and a table of the tasks we ran and how long they took.
- We date our prices. Each price shows the day we last checked it on the vendor’s site. We re-check prices every month.
- We say who a tool is not for. Every verdict has a “Choose it if” and a “Skip it if”.

Who runs the tests
TestedForSellers is a small, independent publication run by HAH Global from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Our background is in paid search advertising and affiliate marketing for software and online stores, so we have spent years signing up for, setting up and measuring the same kinds of tools our readers compare.
We test on the same public plans and prices that sellers in the US and elsewhere sign up for. When a feature, price or payment option differs by country, we say so in the review.
We publish under the TestedForSellers name rather than a personal byline. Instead of asking you to trust a face, every review shows the plan we used, the date we tested, our own screenshots and a screen-recorded video, so you can check our work for yourself.

How we make money
TestedForSellers is reader-supported. When you buy through some links on this site, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Vendors cannot pay for a ranking, a review or a verdict. Details are on our Affiliate Disclosure and Editorial Policy pages.
